What do you think of this as an ending paragraph?

see my essay i wrote is about which character I liked best in the novel i read, and why I admire the character’s qualities. I am now on the ending paragraph and this is what I have:

Flora and I would get along very well, because we are alike. She would make the best friend because she has the best qualities of a friend a person can want. She is smart loyal, and kind. Flora is the type of person that can make a friendship last a lifetime. What else would a person want in a friend?

what do you think? is it a proper concluding paragraph? give me some suggestions!

I think that you should not end your essay with a question. Even though it is a rhetorical question, and the answer should be obvious, there is a chance that it won’t be. It is always better to end your paper with a strong statement. Say something like, I imagine that she would be the perfect friend, or I couldn’t ask for a better friend. Just something that makes it very clear that she would be the best friend. Don’t leave it open for your audience to question.

“……..She would make a perfect “best-friend” because she has all of the qualities I most admire in someone: she is smart, loyal and kind. I admire these traits because with someone like this as a friend, you know that you can turn to them when you need help, they will never betray you and you can look forward to having a life-long relationship. Who could ask for a more perfect friend?”

I think my ending is stronger because I am explaining in my conclusion WHY the traits are important to me, as well as what I admire.
