you think of the future

you can always make a little rewards system

like if you do your homework for a week then you can eat at your favorite restaurant

get into a study group. there you get motivated and if you do not know what to do then you help you so you wont get frustrated and give up all together

you should have learned self disciplen in high school that would help so that it became a habit, but you didnt and you cant change that. just make sure you get into it now so that when you are all alone you will have this habit and wont get fired from your job or something like that

Think of all the money you or your parents would be wasting if you’d happen to flunk out of your classes. I always did the hardest subjects first to get them out of the way, and saved the easy, no -brainers for last when I was tired. I also took a break once in awhile–by going for a walk, going to the student center’s cafeteria/lunchroom to get a snack or a soda, etc.–to clear my mind so I could go back to studying. I also found someone in the same classes to study with, and usually what one of us couldn’t figure out, the other one could. Last but not least, I’d play some soft music (no heavy metal or anything similar) in the background–keeping the volume down so as not to disturb the person next door in my dorm, but just loud enough I could hear it. Hope this helps. :=]

Thank God you are even able to attend college and look at some homeless people who probably never had that chance; do you want to end up on a park bench in your old age? If you need motivation, let it be you’re making your future secure…or not.

A couple of ideas:

1) Get out the work, just lay it out & walk away

2) Spend 20 minutes having fun

3) Go over to it & just look it over. Glance through the book, read over one problem, etc. & walk away.

4) Spend 10 minutes having fun.

5) Go over to it & see if you can answer one problem in your head, or read the first paragraph, & walk away.

6) Spend 5 minutes having fun. Go get a drink, go to the restroom, stretch your body, get a breath of fresh air.

7 Walk over to the work & tell yourself you just need to do it for 30 minutes.

8) If you can, finish it. Otherwise, start the process over again!

don’t think much about when to do it, and never say tomorrow, just do it. trust me u’ll fell good when u finish cause there is no regret. Like if u gave your time to party u will regret it after the party, but if u do what u have to do u’ll never regret and that feels good.

You’re probably going down a wrong path.

You should never study out of compulsion, threats or obligation. You’re not being coerced like the unfortunate kids in the public school / prison system, so you should be able to make the appropriate changes.

What are you studying, sociology or some dumb liberal arts program?

you dont have to. nobody forces you like in HS. but if you dont want the F on your record, you need to force yourself to do it. not like in HS or elementary school, the teachers would give you suspension or call your parents or lecture you. In college, the professors dont care if you do it or not.
