In other words, sin^2(π/10) + cos^2(π/10) = ?

(Was this your question?)

Recall the following trigonometric identity:

sin^2(x) + cos^2(x) = 1

(Regardless of the ‘x’ value)

Therefore,

sin^2(π/10) + cos^2(π/10) = 1

Yep it’s 1. It could be Sin^2(apple)+Cos^s(apple) and it would still equal 1.

Sin^2+Cos^2=1
