Just name what 5 things you would like to gain by taking the Algebra class.

One example might be:

” I am wanting to further understand the concept of equations, and how to solve them adequately.”

Just be creative, as for I don’t think there would be a right or wrong answer here. The teacher is mainly wanting to know what you expect to gain out of taking the class.

or

understanding WHY problems work out they way they do instead of just knowing how to do them

etc

Then list things like

1) I would like to master _____ equations.

2) I plan to study 15 minutes everyday for algebra.

3) Even though math isn’t my best subject I expect to get a B or higher.

Etc.

Make sure tou think hard and be as truthful as possible cuz she may hold you to them.
