To be hardworking is a great characteristic to have. It means you apply yourself and try hard at every opportunity, even if the going is tough. It means you persevere through moments when you struggle and never give up on a task, however difficult it may be. You work hard at everything, which gives you a better outlook and attitude towards life and people, and improves your personality. I find the characteristic of hardworking especially applies to my friend Jim.. ect.
