I’d do it just like a set of instructions on a do it yourself project kit from the store, like the bookshelf I have got ready just feet away from this chair. Identify, number, and label the needed items, since it is clothes, color, material, and season might be taken into consideration, wouldn’t want to mix a polyester pair of pants with a cotton shirt, or a guauze skirt with a wool sweater, and state tools that might be needed. Procure needed items, and state where they can be obtained from. Lay the items out in order of useage. State how to then use each item, in order. And I would not forget what to do if an item is defective! Every good do it yourself project identifies the parts for two reasons: so you don’t use a 1/2 inch nail where you are supposed to use a 3/4 inch one, and so you can go to the store and get a replacement, if it is missing in the first place, or you screw up the project. Toll free numbers are good, and found with electronics, I’d include the number of someone who could give advice to poor Mrs. Vowles, and put it in 1-800 form, it might be cute, but for acuracy, just put a phone number. and include the hours that the phone number will be available[the hours that Aunt Noun would be available to help Miss Vowles}. I’d be sure to go to great detail into how to put each item on, in order. 5.take the sock in both hands, and with the thumbs both inside of the sock, scrunch it up, leaving the toe and the top band not scrunched, and bend over slip it over all of the toes, and smooth out the scrunching as you pull the sock up over the foot, ankle, and leg, when all of the scrunching is gone, smooth the sock with both hands from the toes to the top of the sock, making sure any patters of weave or color are in allignment.”

LOL, have Mrs. Vowels wear slip on shoes, so you do not have to explain how to tie a shoe! Or impress with a step by step how to tie a shoe.
