what would five over three times eleven over three equal?
and how would you figure it out? plz explain I need help.

multiplying fractions is simply multiplying the numerators and then multiplying the denominators.
thus
5/3 * 11/3 = 55/9

You multiply the numerators 5 and 11 of the fractions, and the denominators 3 and 3 to get your new fraction 55/9.
By the way, it’s ‘multiplying’ not ‘timesing’. It may take some time before you can convince people to get the word ‘timesing’ into the dictionary.
