theme of this story….?

whats the theme of the true story of the three little pigs?

can you please help me figure it out, as much as I read the story, i cant get it.

It’s answered in the next to last sentence in the story.

“That’s it, I was framed.”

It’s the Big Bad Wolf’s defense against the accusation of his being a horrible charectar. He says it was all an accident and he didn’t deserve to be painted as mean.

Note, there is a thread of sarcasim running through this whole story. So, while the wolf is defending himself, we’re supposed to know that he’s lying. He shows this by the last sentence: “Can I borrow a cup of sugar?” Very toungue in cheek.

it’s basically like the saying “the truth is in the eye of the beholder” the 3 little pigs saw the wolf as evil, while the wolf saw himself as innocent…
