The equation of the circle that passes through the point (7,3) and has a center at (1,-6)?

Can someone please help i know the equation you use is

(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=C and i need to solve for A= B= C= but am not sure how to do that?

With equation:

(x – a)^2 + (y – b)^2 = C

(a,b) is the centre, and C is the square of the radius.

You need to find C.

C is the square of the distance from the centre (1, -6) to the point (7,3) on the circumference.

C = (7 – 1)^2 + (3 – (-6))^2

= 6^2 + 9^2

= 36 + 81

= 117.

Hence a = 1, b = -6, C = sqrt(117).
