The Chocolate War?
Has anybody read The Chocolate War? I have to read a quarter of it by tomorrow and quite frankly its really boring. My english teacher heard it was a good book, but its actually not so far. Im into about the 5th or 6th chapter and so far this kid is playing football. and 2 guys are arguing about how much chocolate they should buy. for 8 freaking pages they are arguing!!! so if anyone has read it, tell me if its gonna get any better!! please and thanks!!!

I did not like it. several schools dropped it from their reading lists after parents read it. What grade are you in? At least 11th I hope.

Nope,never heard of it.Just be glad you don’t have to read real literature….like “Ivanhoe”,or any Charles Dickens.
