The distance formula (for distance between two points) is:

Sq. root of ( [(x1 – x2)^2] + [(y1-y2)^2])

Sq. root of ( [(-4 – -1)^2] + [(-5 – 1)^2])

Sq. root of ( -3^2 + -6^2)

Sq. root of (9 + 36)

Sq. root of 45

So PQ is the square root of 45 to the nearest 10th.

And you’re right about b.

midpoint equals (x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/2

Hope it was clear enough for you to read (stupid limited keyboard) and I hope I could help. Good luck!

use the gap formula. d=sqrt ((x-x)squared+(y-y)squared) a) i’ve got been given 7.one million contraptions. then use (x+x)/2,(y+y)/2 b) i’ve got been given (2.5,2.5). this is likewise what you acquire! YEAH!! *air extreme-5* ๐Ÿ™‚ goo success! desire I helped!
