I like it when he receives the note that says, “I LOVE YOU.” To have someone tell you that in thier society must have been very special. His reactions seemed very honest. What a great and horrible book all at the same time.

When they sit them down infront of the Flat panel Tv and show them “the 2 minutes of HAte” about Emmaunuel Goldstein….AKA Osama Bin Laden, AKA Sadam Hussien Aka Hitler, AKA Jeffery Daumer…..
Basically, any current or past villian could apply, and I think this is relevant because, we see 2 minute new clips of what Al Queda is doing when if we didn’t see this daily, most people might be blissfully ignorant of the wrongs occurring in the world. But In watching it, are we being manipulated by powers beyond our control.
