Simple Nitrogen Question?
In plants, nitrogen is in the form of nitrates (correct?)
If an animal eats that plant, is the nitrogen still in the form of nitrates inside the animal?
If the animal dies, then what form is the nitrogen in?
Thanks!! (these are not homework questions by the way they’re for a project)

Plants consumed NH3 first. Then the animals will
consume it so that they can produce glucose and/other
protein and sugar chemicals. After that, the animals
will produce wastes or die so that the the decomposing
bacteria can use them.
