1. What do you want to study in college? Perhaps find a topic of interest within that area (for example, if you are thinking about medicine, maybe do a research paper on Stem Cell Research).

2. Open up a newspaper. Are there any current events that peak your interests?

3. If you can do a person, perhaps pick someone whom you admire within your desired field of study.

4. Go with controversy–for example–did Shakespeare really write all of his works?

The most important thing is, again, pick something you are interested in and have fun with it!
