k i have to do significant event paper for my english class and i’m doing it on me coming to USA and how it affected me etc… anyways what do u think i should include.

Make sure you focus and make sure you can show the significance. In other words, what did you learn about the world, yourself, or your relationship with someone. It has to be one event. Don’t talk about the entire experience because it will be too vague.
Start your prewriting with want you learned. For example, did you learn that you can adapt to new situations? Did you learn that you could count on your parents or family for support. Did you learn that Americans aren’t as different as you suspected? What did you learn? Why was it significant? Then decide what led you to that realization. Then start with some background and lead up to a tease. Like–it changed me forever, or I became a different person, or life would never be the same. Then tell you story and conclude with what you learned or how you changed.
