science question?

David and Susan are looking at a jar of honey labeled “pure honey.” David says “That means it’s natural honey with nothing else added.” Susan says, “It isn’t really pure. It’s a mixture of lots of different substances.” Who is right? Explain you answer. (I will chose best answer.)

Susan, because it is bees who make honey by gathering nectar from flowers and mixing it with their spit, this means that it is not just a single substance it is a mixture. Also since it is made this way, there is no way to prevent cross contamination from other things, such as the pollen that the bees constantly get on themselves while going for the nectar.

Susan because nothing is really pure unless it’s an actual element. I may be wrong though.
