2. CS I’m not sure what you mean by a “comma splice,” but this should be a semicolon ( ; ) rather than a comma.

study the sentence out loud. the place it sounds organic so you might end — that’s the place your comma is going. If the comma is already there, that’s appropriate! that’s a large proofreading gadget as properly.
