d = v * t

or t = d / v

where:

d = distance

v = velocity

t = time

Let v = velocity to home

So the velocity to campus = (v + 9)

1 hour and 10 minutes = 7/6 hour

(7/6) = 5/v + 5/(v + 9)

Solving for v, we get v = 6

So, the velocity to home is 6 mph and

the velocity to campus is 15 mph.

Good luck in your studies,
