20) 3 *4 = 12
3 ways to get from K to R
and 4 ways to get from K to P
so just multiply and get 12
–hopefully you think about it some more to get the logic
–the answer seems easy, but the logic is hard. make sure you get the logic.
24)
35 French
42 Latin
12 of the people in French is also in the Latin/12 of the people in Latin is also in the French—meaning they were counted twice
so add 35+42-12=65
or (35-12) + 42 = 65
or (42-12) + 35 = 65
hopefully you get why. wow, these questions are simple. but they do require some thinking and logic, which is kind of hard.
