Another way this can be said is “two cubed”.
A good way to remember the difference between the two is to remember that a cube is 3-D. 3? Get it? 🙂
The number you get when another number is used in a multiplication three times.
Example: 4 x 4 x 4 = 64, so 64 is a cubed number.
