Causes of the Roman Downfall

Roman Empire was strong for a time. It was founded on geography, family values, military strength, and wise leadership. Roman art and society is the basis for Western Civilization and is very important to analyze its downfall to prevent downfall in the future. The Roman Empire flourished because of social, economic, political, military and religious strengths however when the very things that make a civilization flourish start to decline, the civilization will also lead to a downfall.

Causes of the Roman Downfall

The Roman Empire was a powerful and dominating force for several centuries. It was founded on geography, family values, military strength, and wise leadership. Roman art and society was the basis for Western Civilization with many remaining influences today. Despite the enormous power, size, and culture of the empire, it’s important to note that it did in fact collapse, even sending its language, Latin, into the history books with it. It is important to analyze this rise to ultimate power and then fall into collapse to prevent such downfalls in the future. The Roman Empire flourished because of social, economic, political, military and religious strengths. However when the very things that make a civilization flourish start to decline, the civilization will also lead to a downfall.
