Physics and crime scenes.?

For my Physics 2 high school class, we have to give an oral report. It can be on anything as long as you relate it to physics somehow.

I’m choosing to do mine on crime scene investigations and how physics could potentially be used.

I know how it can be used, I just need some sample problems. I’m thinking about one dealing with momentum and a car accident, but that’s all I have so far.

If you could think of some possible problems of a crime scene please post it. (And with the answer, just in case I make a mistake)
