I too am writing an essay somewhat geared to this media. I read the article and it sparked thoughts of what I could do for a paper that was geared toward social issues. I like how she states it plain and simple that there is an image being set not only for women, but for young girls, teenagers, and older females. She is saying that it is geared toward the collective sex of females, not just a select group, but overall.
