parts of a sentence question…?

it says to label each underlined word as a direct object, indirect object, or objective complement. instead of underling the word it’ll be in braquets. i’m having trouble with this, help please?

1. My new watch keeps good [time.]

2. Private Gates and I saluted the [captain] and the [lieutenant].

3. Aunt Jean showed [me] her garden.

4. I sold [Jack] my rod and reel.

5.The team selected the best played [captain].

1 is a direct object b/c time is what the watch kept.

2 is a direct object b/c the captain and lieutenant are the ones whe got saluted.

3 is indirect b/c she showed the garden (d.o.) to me.

4 indirect… see above.

5 object complement, b/c the captain has BECOME the best played one.
