Area of a parallelogram is equal to the bas multiplied by the height:

A=bh

To solve for base, divided both sides by height:

A/h=b

ex. A=25 cm^2 and h= 10cm, find the base

A/h=b

25/10=b

b=2.5cm

Area = base times height so base = area divided by height.
