nonfiction story ideas??
ok well for a creative writing project I have to write a nonfiction story (real) and I dont know how to start it…i procrastinated..a little..okay aLOT, and its due tommorrow. I have no idea on what to write about, give me many ideas please…

If you’re brave enough, write about how you procrastinated on this project, or about your first crush. Write about you, or anyone in your family. Write about a first or memorable experience, or just rewrite an interesting conversation with your friends. Write about how your parents and siblings annoy you (well, you have to admit in the end that no matter what they do, you love them), about how you’re into something , about pretty much anything.

My suggestion would be to take a real event you know well and to write the story of what happened. Anything form an unusual event at school to an event of national importance. My guess is it is going to come out a bit like a news reort of some kind, for School newspaper or National daily. Hope this helps.

Take a walk around your block and see how many houses are decorated for Hallowe’en, or Day of the Dead, or whatever is celebrated in your part of the country. Talk about the different kinds of decorations, and the cultural derivations of them.
