need homework help for my child…?

they line up 10 cans so that 1 can is in the front row. 2 are in the next row. 3 are in the next row, and 4 are in the back row. Reverse the group of cans so that there will be 4 cans in the front row, 3 in the next row, 2 in the next row, and 1 in the back row…..you can only move 3 cans total…….

First set them up the way they are:

* * * *

* * *

*

then move the 1st one on the first row above it

*

* * *

* * *

* *

*

Then, move the middle one from the 2nd row to the 4th row

*

* *

* * *

* * *

*

Then move the lone one on the last row up one row

*

* *

* * *

* * * *

I hope this helps. Good luck to him and May God Bless!

Move the extreme cans from the row originally with 4 cans to the row originally with 2 cans. Then tranfer the original front row to become the new back row.

Sheesh! It would be easier to simply walk around the cans…..

Give your son ten buttons and let him juggle them around to help him work it out.
