As I watched the first and then the second tower collapse, I remember thinking that this was the beginning of WW3. After this day everything would change. Maybe not in a flash like Pearl Harbor, but surely and absolutely.

That means a curtailment of personal liberties, possibly a draft, military action in one or more points on the globe, that my 7 year old son might one day have to fight in the war – and die, that countries would become more isolationist, that it would be impossible to take that trip around the world I’ve always dreamed of because so many countries and cultures would deny VISAs, and that religion would become more important in determining/defining each person and culture.

It also meant that speaking outloud criticisms of our country could become dangerous; and not rocking the boat would become a survival skill.

Wish I had been less on the mark.

Birds, trees, men, women, parents, grandparents, some place to lay your head at night, clear skys, freedom, human rights, the president (even if I like him or not), the feeling of knowing your safe, kindness, firefighters, and everything that makes life beautiful in general.

Ur Question
this is a question you should answer personally but it could be things like your life or your freedom something that you have that you really don’t think about every day but if you lost it would be a big deal. Something you might not appreciate as much as you should
