A good way to do this is to go to a major news website, like CNN, ABC, NBC, New York Times, LATimes, then search for the kinds of stories you are looking for. You can just google them. Here are some links to help you get started:

1.(scroll down this page to the ‘middle east’ section to find your articles.)

http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/

2. with this one, i went to abcnews.com, then typed ‘china’ into the search box and this was one of the articles.

http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=3686894

3. this one i typed ‘wallstreetjournal.com’ , then was directed to the site and on the left hand side of the page clicked on ‘asia’

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119143877817547951.html?mod=hpp_asia_whats_news

hopefully this helps you so you know how to search out your next assignment…

Try the New York Times (www.nytimes.com) or the Washington Post – or your local paper is probably online.

There’s no such thing as a boring topic, only boring researchers.
