I think tha you should star something like…

Imagine feeling your heart pounding a hundred miles an hour like a race car, while you are dropping from _______ feet down a water slide! Well I don’t need to imagine it because I live it when I went to the kalahari water park.

____ days ago, I went to the kalahari water park with ____,

We woke up at _____ and got ready to go ____ we drove for _______hours. When we got there I was amazed by ______ and I felt like ________ I wanted to ________

and then start narrating everything that you did etc etc… and how you felt by the end of the day etc. etc….

A narritive should have minumum diolague, unless it is necessary to the story. It should all be about you and what happened to you and the waterpark. The introduction (the beginning) of the narrative should start out with a very interesting first sentence (so as to “grab the readers attention”. Just get the reader hooked in the beginning paragraph (for the last sentence in the introduction create a little suspence. Say something like “I thought that was going to be the perfect day, but how very wrong I was.” Then go into the body paragraph and launch into the stoty and use great imagery, details, diction, orginization, etc.

Your essay doesn’t need a dialouge, and you can start your essay with a statement or question.
