Standard geometry…

here we go….

-5=-3+x/2

-5*2=-10+-3=-13

x=-13

-1=7+y/2

-1*2=-2-7= -9

y=-9

endpoint<-13,-9>

definatly deserves best answer!

midpoint formula is M(x1 +x2/2,y1+y2/2)

so work the x cooridinate: -3=5+x2 divided by 2

multiply both sides by 2

-6=5+x2

add 6

11=x2

then do the same for y

ok so I look at it this way. Let’s do the x value first.

the midpoint value is -3, so (5 + x)/2 = -3. x = -11.

do the same for y.

midpoint value = 7, so (-1+x)/2=7. y = 15.

therefore the other point is (-11,15)

Hope i helped you out.
