I think you should format your poster in the style of an “overlarge” baby book-journal type that has several pages, some text graphics that have depth / dimension, ( 3D, optical illusions, blow some of the superrrr cute baby pictures to various sizes, maybe make them black and white, and hand color them in complementary colors, ) add some remarks from parents, family and friends that know you well. Present the assignment with a smile,You will not only have a keepsake,Christmas gift for your folks, and an A+ to boot!

With no guidelines, you could focus on a theme from your life, instead of a bunch of different things that represent you (ie family, friends, interests), which is what most people think of doing when presenting about themselves. For my senior yearbook page, I made a collage of pictures of me in my Halloween costume from every year of my childhood.

I had to do that once…one of the easiest things to do is go through magazines and find pictures of things you like…favorite foods, movies, sports teams…stuff like that. I used white poster board from Wal-Mart…and kind of made it look like a scrapbood page…I glued the pictures to colored construction paper cut in different shapes with different edge type scissors…put pictures of your family, friends & pets…favorite TV shows…activities..celebrities you like…school stuff you’re involved in…hobbies…things like that. Hope that helps.
