The best way to do this is to take her into the bathroom, hand her her toothbrush and the tube of toothpaste, a pencil and a notebook, and have her actually brush her teeth, pausing at each step to write down what she is doing, so she gets the sequence correct. She can add as many details as she wants – such as how the toothpaste tastes, what her clean teeth feel like when she runs her tongue over them, and so on and so on.

First, I walk in to the restroom and stand in front of the sink. I grab my toothpaste in one hand and open in with the other. I grab my toothbrush with my other hand and gently squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube and into a line going down the bristles of my toothbrush. After that I set the toothpaste down and turn on the water. I run my toothbrush under the water so it gets moist. I then turn off the water and put the toothbrush in my mouth and move it back and forth across my front teeth. I do the same thing on each side of my mouth. Then, I open my mouth and scrubs the tops of all of my teeth on both the top and bottom of my mouth and the inside parts of my teeth. I spit the extra toothpaste into the sink and turn the water on to rinse it down the drain. I brush my tongue to make sure it is nice and clean. I spit once more and turn on the water to rinse my toothbrush clean. I then turn off the water and put my tooth brush back where it belongs. Smiling ever so pretty in the mirror at how white my teeth are. Then I always make sure I don’t have any toothpaste on my mouth. I turn off the light and continue my business.

1. Locate Tooth Brush and Tooth Paste

2. Put your right hand lightly on tooth paste and grasp it with hand (reverse if you are left handed)

3. With your left hand, twist the cap off of the tooth paste until it comes off. set it down somewheres close.

4. Put your left hand lightly on tooth brush and grasp it with hand.

5. Now hold your tooth brush in front of you with the brisstles pointing towards the ceiling.

6. With the toothpaste nostle a centimeter above the tooth brush bristles, gently squise the toothpaste onto your tooth brush. Do not squize out too much.

7. Open your mouth and bring your tooth brush to your teeth.

8. Brush all teeth back and forth for about a minute or so.

9. Spit out tooth paste into sink and rinse toothbrush with water.

10. Return cap to toothpaste.

11. Return toothbrush to it’s home.

2. Wet the toothbrush

3. Put a pea sized amount of toohpaste on the toothbrush

4. Put the toothbrush in your mouth

5. move the brush in tiny circles on all of your teeth until they are clean

6. Rinse the brush off

7. dry the brush off and put it where it goes
