The base of a rectangle is centered on the x-axis, while the upper two vertices lie on the positive portion of the parabola y = 9 – x2. Suppose that the coordinates of the upper right vertex of the rectangle are (x, y). Express the area of the rectangle as a function of x.

y = 9 – x2
y=-x^2+9
-x^2 is downward, and the y is 9, with (-3, 3) on the x axis
if i drew the graph correctly, the area will be 54
