The answer is t=v x 2 or t=2v (which means that the two is multiplied by the v as well)

You do the opposite of what is present to get the variable or in your case( t )by itself. Currently division is the operation so you would multiply by the bottom number of the fraction, which in your case is two ( doing this will make the 2 cancel each other and making it 1 which makes the (t) by itself)and whatever you do to one side of the equal sign has to be done to the other side. So you would multiply the two by the v.

Here are the steps:

1.) v=1/2 t (perform the opposite operation currently present, in this case division is the operation so multiplication will be its opposite)

2.) (2)*v=1/2*(2) t (the two’s will cancel out each other to equal 1)

3.) 2*v=1*t

4.) 2v=1t (to rid the 1 from the t do the opposite and divide it by both sides, I put this step just in case the one is a different number)

5.) 2/(1)v= 1/(1)t (it’s not neccessary to write a one next to a consonant so people leave them off and write the answer as shown below:

6.) (2v=t) or (t=2v) or (t=2*v)

Hope this helps

v = 1/2 t

first do the same thing to each side to get the “t” by itself.

In this case, multipy each side by the one number that will make the coefficient, 1/2 equal “1”

(2/1) v = 1/2 t (2/1)

now multiply each side

because 2/1 = 2 and 1/2 x 2/1 = 2/2 = 1

2 v = 1 t

which is the same as

2v = t

the correct answer

” t” is 2 v’s.

If v = 1/2 t

then, t = 2v you multiply both sides by 2

ACTUALLY BOTH THE ANSWERS ARE WRONG. THE ACTUAL ANSWER IS t=1/2v.

FROM THE EQUATION V=1/2t WE WILL GET 2t=1/V

AND IF WE HAVE TO FIND T THEN BY CROSS MULTIPLICATION WE WILL GET t=1/2v

v=t/2. Cross multiply and you get t=2v. Think about it. If v is a half of t, then you need 2 v’s to make one t.

first, multiply both sides by 2t, thus you will get a new equation:

2t * v = 1

Then divide both sides by 2v and you get:

t=1/2v

But, wait, that is if you meant v=1/(2t), but if you meant, v=0.5t, then divide both sides by 0.5 and you will get:

t=v/0.5 or t=2v

you dont need the brackets over “t”.

taking the “1/2t” to be one half of “t” (which i might be wrong because it could be devision) i’d say the answer is t=v devided one half of “t”. if you take the “slash” to be a devision symbol then the answer is t=(1/2t) devided by v. i think thats it
