It sounds like you are writing a report…if so here is how I would write the sentence.
The gravitational influence of Jupiter helps to keep the balance of our solar system and also prevents comets from colliding with Earth.
The two sentences above do not really use the best wording possible to make their meaning clear and precise.

firstly balance n shape of the solar system are two diff things
n comets can impact even by going nearby a planet but collissions are direct hitting .
although both sentences are true but there is a lot difference…
