Better. You are asking for help on the world wide web which 30 years ago did NOT exist. You are being educated in world that has electricity, cars and world wide food distribution, a health care system that has wiped out almost all diseases, and on top of that you can shop from home and never leave your couch. Would you consider the invention of plastic progress? How about idea of hearing music with out being present to hear it. You are entertained by TV, DVDs and video games, and you carry a mobile communication device, a cell phone that 20 years ago you could not dream of affording. What world would you want to live in?

As with everything, there are positives and there are negatives. Technology brings with it a new future full of possiblities yet also carries a spotty past. But overall I think that life is better with technology even if there are some ill effects of that advancement.
