Is it possible for two planes not to intersect? (geometry)?

I thought planes were infinite..

If so.. how would they be positioned?

They will never intersect if they are parallel!

A line can pass intersect one, two, or three coordinate planes. It is impossible for it to intersect none. As examples take the line that passes thru the point P(1,2,3). L1(t) = <1, 2, 3> + t<1, 0, 0> L2(t) = <1, 2, 3> + t<1, 1, 0> L3(t) = <1, 2, 3> + t<1, 1, 1> where parameter t ranges over the real numbers L1 intersects one plane, L2 intersects two planes and L3 intersects three planes.

It is … if the panes are parallel.

For example x = 3 and x = 5 will not intersect.

If they were parallel then they would never intersect.

Example:

If these line segments were planes they would never intersect.
