in the book lord of the flies why does simon tell Ralph that “you” will get back all right?

…I can’t really remember the rest of the text that surrounds this exerpt, so this is only a guess.
Simon represents a character that is a “Visionary.” This is important because visionaries see things in ways that other characters can not. Simon is later killed, because he becomes the scapegoat for the boys’ fears. Simon gives an important clue, or what we call “foreshadowing”, in English Literature. “You” will get back alright, but the boys are going to kill me. He is foreshadowing his own death.
