Standard absolute value function?

start by graphing f(x)=|x| (i did), then use transformations of this graph to graph h(x)=|x+5|+5? How would I go about doing this?

the +5 inside of the absolute value bars move the graph of the function 5 units to the left, the +5 outside of the absolute value bars move the graph of the function 5 units up.

It still looks like a V, just left and up from the origin.

Hope that helps.

the graph will be like this: Xintersept is -5;0and Yintersept is 5;0 so as u know,two points are enough to graph,so u can graph it by these two points.

By the way,u find X or Y intesepts by putting zero instead of X or h(X)

for example:

x+5=0

x=-5
