I need to make a soundtrack for Slaughterhouse five…?

Its a school project and I am having trouble finding suitable music. I need at least five songs that I can relate to the book somehow and at the same time be “school appropriate” Anyone have any suggestions?

Billy Pilgrim spends part of his existence in Dresden, Germany. I suggest a good German Military March. The story is difficult since it jumps from one pt. in time to another. Perhaps being able to play a distinctive music in each of the “times” would better clue the audience. German march for Germany, Jazz for his modern life, something way out for Tralfanador, and so on. To avoid questionable lyrics, because every principal has his or her own set of quirks, use instrumental pieces that set the scene rather than become the show. Use music to keep the audience on track.

Best of luck!
