I need homeowork help!!!!!!!?

okay, i have to do a literary terms poster in english on the word: plot.

i am suppose to do a “illustration of the term” which in this case i am doing a plot diagram. but in another part on the poster i am suppose to do an “example of the term”

I DONT UNDERSTAND THAT PART!

this is what the teacher has written: the example is not how the lit term is used in a sentence, it is an actual representation of the lit term as it is used in literature, film, or real life.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE MEANSSSSSSSS CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME!~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE I WILL VOTE BEST ANSWER.

the plot of the story is basically what happens in that story. So to given an example, think about your favorite movie, and tell the significant parts of the story, that’s the plot. You might lay it out like a comic strip where you list the sequence of events in order. That’s it!

Would it be this this?

Two girls are best friends.

They have a fight and don’t speak.

One finds out she has cancer.

The other one does everything she can to help.

(In other words, SHOW the plot?)
