I need help with this word problem!?
At one family reunion, every nephew was a cousin. Half of all uncles were cousins. Half of all cousins were nephews. There were 30 uncles and 20 nephews. No uncle was a nephew. How many cousins were neither nephews nor uncles??
if you get the answer can you explain to me how you got the answer please…I came up with 0 but i dont think that is right!

Like this: 20n’s /30u’s >all n’s =c so 20>
1/2 u’s= c=so 15> so far ,c=15>#of c=n+.5u so now c=20nephews+15half of uncles 35 total cousins so far,,
but there are 20 n’s thats half of all c’s so now c=40 so
5 c’s are not n or u

I’d say it’s zero, the first line states that every nephew is a cousin.. so it would not be possible for any of the cousins to not be a nephew

none becaue to be a cousin, you have to have an uncle or aunt with kids, thereby making you a nephew.
Unless one was a niece……….
