For people who will come to your house, you need to ask the administrations of local schools or universities. If you go to a school or university, then ask your teachers. They can always recommend someone.
Otherwise, find a local Kumon or Sylvan Learning Center. They do not come to your house as far as I know but provide excellent professional tutoring.

Call your local High School or College; They always know connections. Or you could try Syvan Learning Center or someplace similar to them.
