Negative nine plus (positive) six the answer is negative 3 (-3)

starting with 0 (zero) on your calculator subtract 9 then add 6 … -9 + (+)6 = -3 Negative 9 plus (positive) six equals negative three (-3).

is negative and for positive the plus sign isn’t always necassarly.

Hope this helps

I’d say 6 minus 9, because to say negative 9 plus 6 or 6 plus negative 9 makes you sound a little silly. Always use the least amount of words in science or math.

lellypopppsss 🙂
is this a math question? if it is this is how you can describbe it

Its actually, Negative nine plus positive six or nevagive nine plus six. The answer to that is negative three because my teacher told me to think about the plus sign to be the opposite (which’ll be the minus sign) always when there is a nagative sign somewhere in the number sentence. So when there is a minus sign and there is a negative sign somewhere, you’ll have to add to the negative number.

GET IT?

overall -9 + 6 is -9 – 6.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking for (maybe I’ve been out of school too long)–

negative nine plus six is equal to negative three.
