First click the mouse button and then drag it over the text you want to cut and paste, this should highlight the text.
Next either right click to open up a menu and select cut or find the cut button on your tool bar and press it.
Then, go to the area or document where you want to paste.
Left click to get the cursor where you want it. Right click again to bring up the menu and click paste or find paste on your tool bar and click it.

If you are talking about cutting and pasting text in microsoft products like Word, the easiest thing is to drag your mouse over the section you want to cut. Then right click and a menu will appear. Left click on cut. Then place your mouse where you want the text to re-appear. Right click, then left click on Paste. Voila! Hope this helps.
