you know that i^4 =1 hence i^15=i^3=i^2.i=-i.

First you must understand that i^2= -1
then using laws of exponents….
i^15 = i x i^14
= i x (i^2)^7
= i x (-1)^7
= i x (-1)
= -i
therefore i^15 = -i
