well you have to find the points that intersect the x and y axis which are (2,0) and (0,-4).

then you use the equation y2-y1 over x2-x1.

which is (-4 – 0)/(0-2) = -4/-2 = 2

therefore the slope is 2.

First of all, since the right end of the line is going up, you know that the slope will be positive.

slope= rise/ run

It rises two units up and runs one unit to the right.

So… slope = 2/1

slope = 2
