hahaha i am doing this in AP Calc now…
(vu1 – uv1)/v^2
u= x^3 + 3x +2
u1=2x^3 + 3
v= x^2 +1
v1=2x
((x^2+1)(2x^3+3) – (x^3+3x+2)(2x))/(x^2+1)^2)
if you have a ti 89, push 2nd 8 (derivative of) above…then comma X (the variable your finding) close parenthesis
it should crank out the answers, and the work is all up there, or you can just use the calculator to factor that, either way works i think i got it right…hope it helps
