How are some ways that the September 11th attacks still affects modern day America and the world.?
I have a term paper due in a month and i need some ideas. i already have a few ideas on how it affects our economy and stuff. but im only 15 and im not going to be able to think of more ways it affects modern day.

increased security at airports; increased security in USPS system (increased the costs of sending mail); billions of dollars being spent on so-called war on terrorism in Iraq and actual anti-terrorist activities around the world (increased cooperation among many nations sharing intelligence, etc.); decreased “energy security” (i.e., the mid-east petroleum supply is not secure for western nations because of turmoil in the region; less safe for Americans to travel abroad; increased xenophobia in US and perhaps in other nations;

Well it effects a lot of people. This may not be directly related to 9/11 but just think. The war on terrorism is still going on. The items that you can and cannot have in airplanes is still effected by 9/11. just think about it because there are lots more

September 11th still strikes fear into some Americans in that the terror caused by Al-Qaeda still seems to revive every September 11th, because we have a moment of silence to rembember that time.
Also, Americans still have no idea what September 11th really means to them. They are still trying to grasp the true concept of it (such as why we take a moment of silence)
